These days, a marketing strategy ebook really help build your business. There are plenty of books floating around the net – we simply do not know. Most are aimed at consumers. And frankly, many are very bad. But good ebooks have the potential to make a big marketing splash, especially in the business-to-business world where they are relatively new on the scene.

What is an ebook? It is typically 20 to 30-page "book" in PDF format set in a landscape style with lots of graphics and a relatively low word count of 3,000 to 6,000 words. Usually begins with a table of content and presentation, and ends with one or two pages of biographical information on authors and business promotion.

I recommend offering your ebook as not closed, the content, even if you normally door for their content. This means that the electronic book to be available as a free download on its website, without an email address or other personal information. Using this strategy will increase its number of downloads significantly ebook and make readers more likely to download the content of your website (both closed and not closed).

Your ebook topic should be something that you are an expert and prospects want to know. Here are some ideas to get you thinking on the topics of your ebook:

  • A bakery owner creates an ebook on how to decorate cakes.
  • A company engineering produces an electronic book in the pursuit of green design certification.
  • A public relations agency pens an ebook on how write effective press releases.
  • A nonprofit consultant puts out an eBook in locating grant funding.
  • A investment firm provides an e-book on creating a balanced investment strategy.
